On April 13, 2023 Center for strategic research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan held the round table on “Political stability- factor for ensuring sustainable development of the state in modern condition”. In the round table attended responsible representatives of relevant government ministries and departments, scientists and experts of scientific-analytical institutions, civil society and the mass media.
The round table discussed the issue of political stability – a key factor in the sustainable development of the Republic of Tajikistan and its role in strengthening national statehood and political independence.
Also during the event, scientists and exports have expressed their opinions on technologies for ensuring political stability, its role in protection the vital interests of the state, influence of the struggle of the regional and world powers on the political stability of the states, informational space and political stability, ensuring information security as a factor in strengthening the political stability of the Republic of Tajikistan, the necessity to strengthen political stability as the main factor of introducing favorable climate for foreign investment, ideological security, and in general the situation and prospects of ensuring the political stability of the state in the context of the manifestation of modern threats and dangers.
The round table was opened with an introductory speech of Director of the Center for strategic research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Khayriddin Usmonzoda, and he welcomed the participants of the meeting mentioning that today’s theme of the round table is very important and relevant, because it is impossible to achieve progress in society without political stability. It was as the result of the wise and peaceful policy of the Founder of peace and national unity, the Leader of the nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, his excellency Emomali Rahmon, that political stability took place in our country and Tajikistan has achieved great economic, social, cultural and spiritual successes over the years of state independence. Therefore, consideration and analysis of the topic “Political stability- factor for ensuring sustainable development of the state in modern condition” is important and timely and will contribute for the further development of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Then the round table under the chairmanship of the deputy director of the Center Parviz Muhammadzoda started its work. In front of the audience spoke the Director of the State Institution of the scientific research of the Ministry of economic and trade development of the Republic of Tajikistan S.J. Zainiddinzoda on the topic ”Socio-political stability and its impact on the economic development of the country», deputy chairman of the Committee on youth and sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan S.S.Chorshanbezoda on the topic “The role of youth in the protection of national interests”, deputy head of the Military Institute of the Ministry of defense of the Republic of Tajikistan on scientific works of R.A. Abdurakhmonzoda on the topic “Youth Policy and Political Culture in Tajikistan”, head of the Department of political processes in Tajikistan of the Tajik National University H.Q. Safaralizoda on the topic ”Prospects for ensuring political stability in the Republic of Tajikistan», head of the Department of political science of the Institute of Philosophy, political science and law of National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan S.Murodov on the topic ”Stability of political relations as a factor of strengthening political stability», head of the Department of sociological disciplines of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan S.A. Muhammed on the topic ”Political stability as a vital interest», researcher of the Institute for the Study of Asian and European Issues of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan U.Q. Nazarov on the topic «Ideological security as the growth of political security of the Republic of Tajikistan”, S.S. Sharifzoda, head of the Department for analysis and forecasting of internal policy of the Center for strategic research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, on the topic “Factors hindering Tajikistan’s political stability”, senior lecturer of the Institute for the study of legality, legal policy, crime and advanced training of employees of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Tajikistan Nabi Nabizoda on the topic “The role of the Prosecutor’s Office in the implementation of law in society as an important factor in strengthening political stability”.
The summit participants spoke at the talks and expressed constructive thoughts and opinions on the above-mentioned reports.
The round table was concluded and summed up by the Director of the Center for strategic research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Khayriddin Usmonzoda and expressed gratitude to the participants for their active participation.
The meeting was held in the spirit of sincerity, mutual understanding and constructive dialogue.
